Frosts Dawn of the Dead 1978 Review

One day,....George A.Romero was touring a new indoor mall some friends of his built in Pittsburgh,PA. While doing this,he thought how neat it would be to do a zombie movie inside a mall! And so,...they let him! He wrote Dawn of the Dead, and soon,it became reality.

2 swat boys, one with a hook-up to a chopper his friend and wife have access too,get going out of the city, while the going is good,as the undead infest the area. After getting gas at a not so desolate airport,...they land on top of a large, indoor mall. The set up refuge inside the upstairs corridors and make sure its fully "zombie proof."

They still however,do dangerous missions ,such as hunting the undead already at large in the mall, and claiming it as their own. Setting up precautions to make this mall there own and protect it from not only the undead....but from common thugs and people who might want to take it away from them.

Can these four survive,as the pressures of what the worlds going through pushes down on them? And what happens when a motorcycle gang decids to get in,..with the undead following? I believe this film did much justice for the saga, and became an instant cult classic. Again,it holds realism, and the scary "what if" effect.

Tom Savini ,as always, did great with his make-up effects. They did alot of hard work on this film that is greatly appreciated by the fans of the saga! We all say "thank you!" For making us such a great film!
