As the legendary studio continues to celebrate its 70th anniversary year, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment releases the second phase of its ‘Studio Classics’ range on DVD on May 9th 2005 with 20 titles from its library of unforgettable and acclaimed film releases. Studio Classics is a highly collectible range of 70 classic films made between 1930 and 1970, bringing together classic stars, memorable moments and strong storylines from all genres and eras.  May’s collection contains a compilation of films with something for everyone, including 6 new-to-DVD films including the Oscar winning Zorba the Greek, the Oscar nominated A Farewell to Arms and The Agony & The Ecstasy plus The 300 Spartans, The Hunters and Buffalo Bill.

This second collection boasts a broad selection of timeless titles, starring the likes of Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Anthony Quinn and Cary Grant.  It features epic films from The Bible to The 300 Spartans, captivating Cinemascope productions including Love Is A Many-Splendored Thing and North To Alaska, as well as a large number of wartime dramas to coincide with the 60th anniversary of VE Day.
