Michael Bay talks Transformers

As many of you might know, Michael Bay was interested to direct the 80s cartoon hit, "The Transformers". Steven Spielberg was going to direct the film but is now going to executive produce. Well it seems that Bay will really direct the movie.

Robert from IESB caught up with Michael Bay ("The Island") at a birthdayparty for Ken Sax, and according to the interview, Bay will direct the live-action Transformers movie. DreamWorks and Paramount have scheduled the movie for a November 17, 2006 release.

In 1984, the Transformers brand took the world by storm with its compelling saga of the "Robots in Disguise," and quickly became a childhood rite of passage with a tremendously successful toy line from Hasbro and Takara, comic book series, television program and animated feature film.
