Mummy 3 Script is Completed

According to Joblo, Stephen Sommers has completed a script for "Mummy 3" and plans to begin shooting at the end of this year and early 2006. So far their is no word whether Brendan Fraser or Rachel Weisz will be back. This will most likely be up to the studio if they are willing to put some money behind this project.

I was not a big fan of the orginal and I have never seen the sequel so if you are a fan of the franchise I would imagine this is great news. I have no idea where they will take the story especially if they can't get the main characters back. We'll keep you posted on this as we get more information.
