Star Wars TV Shows Confirmed!

George Lucas recently confirmed that their are in fact two tv series coming related to Star Wars. As somebody who recently picked up and watched the animated series "Star Wars Clone Wars" on DVD I gotta tell you I am excited. Be sure and read my review of the Clone Wars DVD series.

He also confirmed that their will be a live action star wars series. It will apparently be placed in a timeline between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. That to me sounds VERY promising if done right, and Lucas does tend to do things right so I am REALLY excited at this point.

The series will apparently be100 episodes each one being 1 hour long, giddyup! George Lucas himself will direct season one and it will be based on spin off characters from the original movie series.
