Probed renamed to ALTERED

According to our friends from Blairwitch.de, Eduardo Sanchez' ("Blairwitch Project") new movie "Probed" has been renamed to "Altered". The producer Rob Cowie said, the the name wasn't the first choice, but recently a new partner came on board with the film and in discussions with them they pointed out some good reasons for a new name. Eduardo Sanchez came up with "Altered" because it really speaks to the heart of the movie.

The shooting is scheduled to start in 22 days at the Universal Studios in Florida. The SFX will be done by Spectral Motion, who already worked on "Hellboy" and "Blade: Trinity". Gregg Hale and Rob Cowie will produce, Mike Monello will co-produce together with Matt Compton and Jeff Johnsen.

The lead characters of "Altered" are all alien abductees, who get their own back against the aliens when they're lucky enough to capture one of them. They have to decide what to do with it though - if they kill it, it'll cause quite a storm on Earth.
