Upside of Anger Movie ReviewPosted by:Kevin Costner, Joan Allen, Erika Christensen, Evan Rachel Wood, Keri Russell and Alicia Witt headline a stellar ensemble cast in the comedic drama "The Upside of Anger". Allen stars as the sharp-witted Terry Wolfmeyer, a suburban wife and mother who is left to raise her four headstrong daughters when her husband unexpectedly disappears. Things get even more hectic when Terry falls for her neighbor Denny (Costner), a once-great baseball star turned radio DJ, and her daughters are forced to juggle their mom's romantic dilemmas as well as their own. The Upside of Anger is written and directed by Mike Binder (who also appears in the film) (Please understand that my wife and I only stayed 20 minutes into the movie because the acting, camera work, and plot were horrible.) The movie from the opening scence starts off with poor camera work and acting. It looks as even the actors themselves dont know their lines and are making up the plot as they go. Joanne Allen may have given the worst female performance I have ever seen & Kevin Costner should be kicked in the nutts for his acting job. I felt like I was watching a home made movie which happened to have some has been stars in the picture. My two year old could have done a better job with my video camera shooting a film about his Elmo dolls than the whole crew for Anger. This movie sucked and I want the 20 minutes I wasted on the piece of crap back ...
