Two Villains in Spiderman 3?

A couple of weeks ago Aint-It-Cool News reported that Sandman was going to be played by Thomas Hayden Church. It was also said that there was conceptual art for Sandman all over the offices. Well now there maybe another villain appearing in Spiderman 3 according to a scooper:

"Yes the Sandman will be in Spider-Man 3 but he's not the only villain. And no it isn't Black Cat like some people were suggesting. It will be SANDMAN AND HOBGOBLIN"

Now what I see happening here is that they use the Ultimate universes Hobgoblin. The ultimate universe is something Marvel created to reinvent some characters and make some changes in their story lines. Ultimate Hobgoblin in the comic is Harry Osbourne making this a very logical rumor. We'll have to wait and see.
