Nightstalkers is no more

Our little site of horrors, Horror-Movies.ca, has reported that Ryan Reynolds has no interest in doing a spin off from Blade Trinity, Nightstalkers. Now I haven't seen Blade: Trinity yet, so I don't really know how to take this news. I imagine Reynolds did a good job though he has a pretty good career going for himself now, especially in the horror genre.

Recently Reynolds talked to Sci Fi Wire and here is what he had to say about the whole deal: "No, I don't want to do a Nightstalker movie. I don't think it’s going to [go]. I think people, if they go see a Blade movie, they want to see Wes [star Wesley Snipes]. That's who they've watched all this way. So I suggested to New Line if they want to spin that off, take the characters and do something totally different with them, ... outside of the realm of vampires or whatever."
