El Topo Movie Review

After 30 years since I first viewed "El Topo", I found a copy of it on ebay. Hurray! I just viewed the movie and cuncure with the other writers. You will not forget the images...you may forget the storyline, or at least not maintain a logical flow of story line in menmory.

Thats why a few viewings are necesary. Unfortunately, multiple viewings require a good stomach for the powerful imagery. If you like to view movees that elicite some thinking and reflection, "El Topo" is one of the best.

Im gonna wait a few days and view it again to see if I can put more of the writer/producers intent together. Alejandro's use of deformed and handicapped actors in the film puts us in touch with our humanity. If you are fearfull of your own violence do not view this film. It is very violent.
