So where is Silent Hill Filming?

So here is an interesting question. Where is Silent Hill filming? Our insider who has proven right over and over again says Toronto but a reader dropped us a line to say that apparently it is being shot in the mighty land of the French (France for those who are globally challenged) Here is what the writer had to say

I translated a french website that was stating that the silent hill movie's star character would be Heather Morris of Silent Hill 3, and that the movie would be filmed in france. This website even had pictures of some of the cast and screen shots of the movie. I'm certain it's the same movie because Christophe Gans was mentioned multiple times as being the director of the movie. Are two films being shot? Whats the deal?

Well at this moment I dont know what the deal is, but its an interesting scoop you stumbled on so lets all wait and see. I have contacted our insider to get his story since our exclusive ( Exclusive Silent Hill Filming in Toronto ) on the location is a wee bit old now. Perhaps it is filming in both. The director according to our insider is Gans, we have known this for along time but just not been able to say as much. look for an update on this as soon as we get it. As it stands I trust our source since he hasnt been wrong yet, but I think its likely the film is going to film in both locations. we will see!

Those of you who have seen Brotherhood of the Wolf are no doubt excited Gans is on board. I know I am.
