Shyamalan Casts Howard and Giamatti

Shyamalan is diving into his next project head first and has already cast two lead roles in his next film "Lady in the Water". The film is about a building superintendent who finds a water nymph in the building's swimming pool.

For the main character Night is reuniting with Bryce Dallas Howard from his picture "The Village". Night is well known for casting people he has done films with before. He knows what they can do and feels comfortable with them playing a certain role. The super will be played by Paul Giamatti. Giamatti is best known for his work in "Sideways".

Right now the plan is to release the film on July 21, 2006. They have given a production date in August.
