Hugh Jackman on for X-men 3

Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine, is set to return. At this point he is one of the few we know for sure will be returning. Halle Berry is still not signed on and alot of fans are screaming get rid of her because of her 'I want to be the star' comments. Patrick Stewart is still being negotiated with but I am sure he will come back, its a great role for him. James Marsden is still up in the air since he jumped to Superman Returns and took a lead role. He played CYCLOPS. I am sure they will bring him back since their other choices are to write him out or re-cast him which will NOT work.

I mean I want to see some bad ass Wolvie action! Rumors are flying around that Len Wiseman will be directing the Wolverine Movie. Len Wiseman is most well known for his work on the Underworld movie. The movie was pretty good in my books but in many cases was panned by the film audience. According to rumors on the internet Len Wiseman is one of many directors offered the shot to play the role of Wolverine Movie Director.

Cinescape has posted on their site that they have a reliable source that is backing up this information. So at this point we are just going to have to wait and see what happens. In my books Len Wiseman is not a bad choice at all.

The plan for Wolverine according to Shuler is to do a movie that covers the origin of Wolverine and stay true to the comics. Those of us who are die hard wolverine fans can appreciate this. If the first one goes well the intention is to do a second one about the Mariko, ninja story.
