Venom is the Spiderman 3 Villain

According to our buddies at Joblo the next villain for Spider Man 3 will be Venom... .iiiinteresting. I was sure it was earlier reported that Venom would not be the next villain. If you have any feedback drop us a line. Venom will be played by Thomas Haden Church.  We should probably add the disclaimer at this point that NONE of this is confirmed information just rumors spilling out from reliable sources. When asked about Spidey 3 Raimi had the following to say

"In addition to the ongoing relationship between Peter Parker and M.J., these films are driven by the great actors who have brought our villains to life," Raimi said. "Thomas Haden Church will be a fantastic and challenging new nemesis, and we all look forward to working with him."

Venom came to be after Spider Man put on a new black costume which he got for the first Secret War. He discovered the suit was actually an alien trying to take over his body as a host. Eddie Brock who hates spidey found the suit and the rest is history, you got yourself Venom.
