The Ring Two: ( Ring 2 Movie Review )
Not better than the first american The Ring (which was great IMO) but still good. The rules have mostly changed but Naomi Watts and her creepy kid are still there and with Samara popping up from the TV, that's enough to make this worth watching.

Ice Princess: ( Ice princess Review )
Disney and a new movie for kids after the surprise hit and not bad The Pacifier. This one is about ice skating girls starring Buffy's little sister Michelle Trachtenberg, a geeky girl working on a school project merging math and her passion for the sport. A fun movie though definetely for little girls. My Review:

The Upside of Anger: ( Upside of Anger Movie Review )
I'm starting the early Oscar buzz for next year nominating Joan Allen for Best Actress. She owns this movie from start to finish. Amazing performance. Kevin Costner costars with a great performance too, and then the young girls Alicia Witt, Erika Christensen, Keri Russell and the so beautiful Evan Rachel Wood. All of them also give very good supporting performances.
My Review:

Downfall: ( Downfall Movie Review )
this German movie didn't win the Oscar for Best Foreign Picture a few weeks ago, but maybe it should have.
Is the story of the last days of Hitler and the people around him, what they did, how Hitler treated them and how they treated him, while living in a bunker under Berlin waiting for the Russians to get to them. Powerful performances by this huge German cast.

Millions: ( Millions Movie review )
Danny Boyle's follow up to the great 28 Days Later is different to his previous work. Very different, and while at first I was disappointed, after a second watch I fell completely in love with it. A great story and some really awesome scenes with the Danny Boyle trademark of filmmaking. My review was after my first watching so it's not very positive but I'll have to change it.
My Review:

Dear Frankie: ( Review coming soon )
another great British film with one of my favorites in Emily Mortimer. A great dramatic performance as a single mother of a deaf kid who writes letters to his saylor father but in fact she's faking the letters his father sends him. A tearjerker yes, but a great story first.

So, What to Watch:
-----------------------------------------
1- The Ring Two
2- Ice Princess
1- Downfall
2- Millions
3- The Upside of Anger
4- Dear Frankie

Oh and on a totally off note, Hakeem has sat down and watched an early screening of Sin City, so be sure and give his Sin City Movie Review a read!
