Shekhar Kapur to Direct Solace

Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Shekhar Kapur is going to direct "Solace" for New Line Cinema. Kapur also directed "Elizabeth", which earned him a best director nomination. He also directed 2002's "The Four Feathers", which was panned by most but it is actually one of my favorite epic films. Great story, great action and great direction.

Bruce Willis will star in the New Line thriller. The film was scripted by Ted Griffin and Sean Bailey and will begin production in July. New Line's Toby Emmerich and Richard Brener are steering the pic and are expected to set a director this week.

Willis will play a doctor with psychic powers who's enlisted by the police to help catch a serial killer. It turns out the killer has similar gifts.
