Ferris Buellers Day Off sequel coming?Posted by:Who doesnt know Ferris Bueller's adventures, when he gives into an overwhelming urge to cut school and head for downtown Chicago with his girl and his best friend , to see the sights, experience a day of freedom and show that with a little ingenuity, a bit of courage and a red Ferrari. Now there are again rumors that a sequel is being planned. According to HSX, Writer-Director John Hughes and star Matthew Broderick are rumored to be teaming up again for the sequel to 1986's classic rules-breaking, play-hooky-from-school-and-suffer-no-consequences comedy, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Ferris, now 15 years older and working at a large firm in Chicago, remains the rebel at heart, as he is bent on playing hooky again, this time from work. I was a big fan of the original, but can this typical 80's comedy also work now? Maybe yes, maybe no. I definitely would watch it. But only if the original cast (Matthew Broderick, Mia Sara, Alan Ruck) is included. THX to Birdman for sending us this scoop ! Source: HSX
