Peter Jackson Confident in Hobbit Movie

Peter Jackson it seems is pretty darn confident that a Hobbit movie cometh. When in Sydney he was asked when he thought it might happen according to the AAP and he replied

"Three or four years would be accurate, I would say,"
Why so long you ask? Well there is lots of haggling to be done since the first 3 films made over $3billion and the hobbit is owned by two companies, New Line & MGM. You can also bet they each want to see a good dollar come their way from this film. Can not say I blame them one bit. According to Jackson he thinks it will happen and it will require quite a bit of haggling
"But I think it's gonna be a lot of lawyers sitting in a room trying to thrash out a deal before it will ever happen."
So lets see where this goes, I think 3 years is a pretty good time frame since by then we will all be sick of the 50 different dvd versions of lord of the rings that have been released. You can read the entire report by going here
