Anna Faris returns for Scary Movie 4

Horror-Movies.ca is reporting that Anna Faris has just signed a deal with Dimension Films to star in Scary Movie 4. As most of you know this film takes the recent horror films and spoofs them with Anna Faris' character, Cindy Campbell, caught up in the middle.

Now Scary Movie 3 was the worst film out of the series so hopefully the next one will be better. Unfortunately though they are not bringing the Wayans brothers back into the picture. Instead they will use everyone from the third installment including the director, David Zucker, and Craig Mazin and Pat Proft to write the film.

I was surprised to hear that all three of the films have done quite well. The first movie grossed $157 million, the second $71.3 million, and the third, released in 2003, hit $110 million.
