Horror Box Office Numbers

Constantine one of my favorite movies so far this year has dropped down to the 6th position in the box office with revenues down 50% from the weekend before. Constantine pulled in around $6million dollars. CURSED which I reviewed a few days ago and did not like brought in $4million so I guess the kids are hitting the theatres. For the record it seems im alone in my despise of cursed since others seem to really enjoy its campy style.

The Jacket which is basically the same premise as the Butterfly Effect came in with $3million just behind cursed. I have yet to see the movie myself but intend to get in line to see it soon. The two top films are The Pacifier and Be Cool which are firmly keeping the horror and thriller flicks well away from top box office numbers.

So overall not a bad weekend, lets see what we get in the coming months as alot of great horror flicks are about to come out!
