Feast - A Project Greenlight Film

"Project Greenlight" was created as a contest that would "open the industry" to aspiring writers and directors who need a big break to jump start their dreams.   Following the conclusion of the contest the winners (Screenplay and Director) would immeditately began production on the next Project Greenlight film, in which it would also be documented and "the making of the film" will then be aired on the Bravo channel, as nine, one hour episodes.

Now, what makes this so cool is that this years winning screenplay is for a horror movie called "Feast".  Here's a little synopsis of what the film will be about:

"On a snowy evening at a rural watering hole, a motley crew of bar patrons struggle to survive a hungry family of flying beasts set on consuming a human buffet."

Screen writters Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan will team up with John Gulager (winner of the director category) in making this film.  "Feast" is currently in post-production, with the "making of" episodes to begin aring on Bravo, Tuesday, March 15 at 9:00 pm (est).

I'm checking right now to make sure I get the "Bravo" channel.  I don't want to miss going behind the scenes and seeing a horror movie get made.
