Review: Gabe judges Day of the Dead

Well day of the dead has rose in my charts of my favorite zombie flick. Its eerieness is what got me. like in the begining when miguel is on the bullhorn and that bass music was playing then the zombies began to mobilize. that was one of my most remembered scenes. the movie went along with one of the best storylines ever. unlike in Dawn of the Dead Romero gave this one a darker tone rather than the comic booky type of movie. and it also had some of the most interesting characters as well.

Dr. Logan being this crazy but not crazy doctor. although he was a butcher he was doing it for the good of science . but the mascot of the movie was Bub. the "friendly" zombie. which actually proved that not all zombies are as dumb as we take them for. and we must thank Tom Savini for the gore he instilled on the movie. when Rhodes got torn apart that was a masterpiece of the film other than the neck bites. but the editing people missed something in the scene where Rhodes gets torn in half.

You can see him sort of jump when the smell hits him his eyes shuddered and he stopped screaming. the ending was the only light part of the movie. it actually showed hope for the characters that survived. but there were parts of the movie that were hard to understand. like the sen in logans lab when Sarah plays the tape. that part i didn't understand what was on the tape or what it meant for our character of logan. otherwise i found the movie great. it is a 10/10.
