Small Town Folk - New Indie movie coming 2005 !
Posted by: MacReadyToday we added a new Indie movie to our database. "Small Town Folk" is a new feature film from Gumboot Pictures. It is written and directed by Peter Stanley-Ward, and stars Dan Palmer ("Freak Out"), along with a host of other freaky co-stars. The movie is a comic-book cross between "Straw Dogs" and "The Hills Have Eyes". "Small Town Folk" is set to finish for summer 2005.
The Story: A young photographer takes a bike ride through the forest... Two naive newly weds are on an adventure road trip... Together they find themselves in the land of Grockleton, where the colourful locals seem friendly and all too eager to please. But as time passes by, things change. In Grockleton there is an anciet tradition... A hunting game... with an unsuspecting prey!
Gumboot Pictures presents "Small Town Folk", a thrilling adventure through a nail-biting world of traps and surprises, thrills and spills, which will keep the audience on the very edge of their seats.
