Our friends from Creature Corner had the chance to talk to producer Brad Fuller and asked him a lot of questions about the upcoming "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" prequel. There is no director signed for the movie now, but it has been confirmed that the filmmakers will tell us a few things about the beginnings of Leatherface.
Here's a little clip from the interview:
CC: Why a prequel instead of a sequel?
Fuller: One of the reasons we're doing the prequel is that so many people have asked us the origin questions about Leatherface and we figured we should answer them.

CC: Do you think there's anything of value from the two previous sequels - 1986's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and 1989's Leatherface - that could be used in the prequel?
Fuller: We're not looking to the previous sequels for ideas on our prequel.
CC: What do you think the new writer will bring to the prequel that might be different from writer Scott Kosar's approach to the remake?
Fuller: The new writer (I can't give you his name until his deal is closed) promises to really get to the bottom of some of the questions we want answered. Why the mask? How's the family involved? Why the chainsaw?
