Off the Beaten Path Indie Film

I just recieved informatiion about this film today so I sat down and viewed the trailer. At first glance you can tell this movie resembles Blair Witch in almost every way. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of that movie.

But towards the end of the trailer I saw some Evil Dead peeking out. So that caught my attention. There are some definite Raimi camera work being done in the form of the woods shots.

Some of the lines are straight out of Blair Witch though.. "Normal people don't make this kind of stuff!!" one of the characters shouts as he holds up some kind of cross made out of sticks..

From viewing the trailer thats all I can say story wise. If he expands on the Evil Dead aspect more in the film it would definetly make it worth viewing. Giving the budget that he is working with it looks really well put together. I have seen some very bad indie films before but the quality of the film in this movie is really surprising. The actors seem to be pretty good as well.
