Frog-g-g: Attack of the Mutant Horny ToadPosted by:This has got to be one of "the" greatest independent films (of the last week at least) that is making a name for itself.. and it's name is "Frog-g-g!" Are you saying to yourself "WTF?!?" right about now. HAHA, I was too, but let me explain. Writen and directed by Cody Jarret, "Frog-g-g" is horror/comedy that "aims to give the same treatment to the drive-in monster/nature gone amok movies of the late 1970’s with a dash of good old-fashioned sexploitation tossed in for good measure."
Still not convinced that your in the presence of independent filmmaking greatness. Well check out the synopsis for the film, and bow down to the muntant horney toad named "FROG-G-G!" Chemical waste seeps into a small towns water supply, causing the birth of a mutant Froggg, which is instinctively driven to mate with it's genetic match - human women. Sexy EPA super-agent Dr. Barbara Michaels tracks the Frogggs every move, fight off corrupt good-ol-boy politicans and druken rednecks at every turn. No one in town believes her, or the evidence, until the shocking climax when the Froggg is finally brought to justice... or is it? Ok, for the ones who have not yet converted to Frog-g-gism - you can go and check out the trailer as well as the website here. Frog-g-g will be unleashed to the public on April 2005. On a side note, I gotta give props to Tom Neely who did the artwork for the poster - well done! Source: Dread Central
