Hide and Seek - Fox Being Extra Careful

You cannot be to careful these days, and it seems that 20th Century Fox is trying very hard to be just that. In a rare move by the studio "20th Century Fox will be shipping prints of a motion picture to theaters across the nation without the picture's final reel. The unprecedented move is part of a major effort to protect the pay-off of the studio's terrifying suspense-thriller Hide and Seek."

The movie centers on a young girl who loses her mother at an early age. Her father discovers, that his 9 year-old daughter has come up with an unusual, unexpected and ultimately terrifying way of dealing with her mother's death.

The daughter has an imaginary friend named Charlie. A creepy, maniacal imaginary friend with a terrifying vendetta. Her father soon realizes that Charlie isn't make believe. Imaginary friends can seem so real.

This film is scheduled to be released in theaters on January 28, 2005.
