The Rising Goes from Book to Comic Book

We just recently brought you news about Brian Keene's next novel "City of the Dead" which is a sequel to "The Rising".  Well it seems the Brian Keene is in the news again, cause he just scored a deal with Indie Gods Publishing to turn "The Rising" into a 6 issue mini-series.

Here's the official press release: "Horror Fans Rejoice! Bram Stoker Award winning horror novelist Brian Keene will be bringing the dangerous world of his novel "The Rising" to Indie Gods Publishing! The Rising is slated to be a 6 issue mini-series adaptation of the novel. Written by Brian Keene himself, this project will also feature the electrifying pencils of Rich Molinelli."

I wasnt much of a fan of "The Rising", but I will admit that I am curious to see how it will look in comic-book form.
