Freddy vs Jason 2 - Its Dead, or is it?

So MoviesOnline got the original scoop that a Freddy vs Jason 2 was in the works, and then top it all off with Bloody-Disgusting declaring no friggin way. MoviesOnline then stands behind its sources, and then B-D declares its happening. Now Creature-Corner has come forward to say NAY billy, NAY!! It ain't going to happen. Here is what Creature-Corner said.

The Corner had the chance to speak to Stokely Chaffin, vice-president of production at New Line Cinema, not to mention an executive producer on Freddy Vs. Jason and one of the few women to hold real power in Hollywood, who confirmed that there are no current plans for Freddy Vs. Jason 2.

"Unfortunately, there are no current plans for a sequel," says Chaffin. "Would love to hear from fans if this is disappointing to them. Also, would love to know what story they would want to see since the Ash match-up hasn’t worked out."
