The Ring 2 Starts Filming

The sequel to the wildly popular The Ring, has now began filming in Astoria, Oregon. A chaotic mix of more than 230 local extras was being used last week to make a carnival scene appear lively. "It's a positive experience for everyone," said executive producer Neil Machlis.

Its good to see that this movie is finally moving along again. Hideo Nakata is directing this film. He was the director behind the original Japanese version of the movie and also directed Dark Water.
