Short Film Site hosts ALL-SONNYBOO-WEEKPosted by:Long running short film site UNDERGROUNDFILM.ORG is hosting a weeklong "All-SONNYBOO WEEK" premiering one new Sonnyboo short film every day. The new short films from Sonnyboo are joining the 30+ short films that have been showing on the Internet site since January 2000. No registration or pay required to watch any of the movies on Undergroundfilm. "Undergroundfilm has been around since movies on the web began and they’re still going strong", says Peter John Ross, Producer/Director with Sonnyboo Productions. "This site is far better quality presentation than Ifilm or Atomfilms. Who likes to watch commercials or pay to see video in high quality?" Movies set to begin showing on UNDERGROUNDFILM from Sonnyboo include the award winning short ALWAYS LATE, Audience Award winner for the 48 Hour Film Project, the scene from the upcoming feature film HORRORS OF WAR, and several more. Most of the Sonnyboo catalog of short films have been playing on the site since the 6 part BACK OFFICE series of shorts, for which writer/director Peter John Ross was terminated from his brokerage job in 2000. 2005 already begin with the UK’s 3BTV having "Sonnyboo Days" where they exclusively played Sonnyboo content for 4 consecutive days. Using the Internet to present and exhibit short form entertainment has been the highest priority for Sonnyboo Productions, as is evident with the award-winning site Sonnyboo.com and the amount of traffic it gets now. Several Sonnyboo short films are to play at film festivals as varied as the Central Nebraska Film Festival on January 28th, the Cinemaslam screenings in Ann Arbor Michigan Feb 8th, and the Panartist Global Shows at the London Shakespearean Globe theatre England February 28th, which will be simulcast on the web live. Panartists UK Colin Chapman says, "Award winning film maker Peter John Ross is a versatile artist with more than over a hundred film and music in his curriculum vitae. From comedy to drama Ross's success resides in an open quirky narrative and a very inventive plot providing actors with loads of support and free expression in his entertaining and arty films."
