War of the Worlds SuperBowl Trailer & more!

Those very cool cats at the War of the Worlds Site sent us a very cool scoop about an upcoming trailer during the SuperBowl for War of the Worlds. They also made mention that the ending has yet to be finalized. Quite interesting! Here is what they had to say

More info for your site about War of the Worlds, which, admittedly, is gaining up the ranks with Star Wars as the most anticipated film of this Summer. Anyways, a newspaper reporter has shared with us some info about a band new trailer that will debut during the Superbowl. He said this about the new trailer:

"A new trailer is being planned for Superbowl half time. This will feature Tom Cruise (aka Ray Ferrier) and his family escaping the Martian attack as the gas station in bayonne and the Bayonne bridge are blown up in the background, along with the whole of block of houses that were used for the filming in Bayonne.

Unfortunately, the Mustang in the garage of the house gets evaporated as well."

Sullivan (the source) has also stated that insiders say Spielberg has not yet made up his mind how he intends to end the film. Not to worry, the filmmakers of Casablanca did not know the ending of their film until the final days of production, so we'll see how Spielberg pulls this one off!
