Affirmative Action : Ben Affleck & Will Smith team up!

Seems that Ben Affleck and Will Smith are teaming up to do some action comedy. Seems like an odd mix to me, but I am a fan of Will Smith so we will see what comes of it. Quotting Kevin Smiths site, who is of course a friend of Ben Afflecks,

Ben Affleck and Will Smith will buddy up in the action-comedy "Affirmative Action" set in New Orleans. When a black soldier goes A.W.O.L. after committing a crime, a South Boston cop and a FBI agent who don't share the same racial views are teamed to find him. Affirmative Action was written by Jeffrey Abrams and is currently in development at Jerry Bruckheimer Films. Buena Vista will distribute the picture.

Tough to say, might be a keeper, might very well be a stinker. Speaking of stinkers what ever happened to surviving christmas? It went right to dvd and I dont get it.
