Rumor Farm: Paramount buying Fable Movie Rights?

Iiiinteresting. Seems that the rumor mill is going rampant this week. First Romero was rumored to have stormed off the set of Land of the Dead, (not true, exactly) and now Paramount is apparently looking into buying the rights to the hit game fable. Here is what the scooper had to say.

i've heard this rumor on the web that Paramount is trying to buy film rights to the hit game Fable. Fable is a story of a boy who in the first mission of the game you have to get your sister a birthday present. But, over time you get to choose between being a built warrior hero, or an evil, dead looking magic loser guy
