No More Blockbuster Video Late Fees?Posted by:So Blockbuster has announced that they are no longer charging late fees for movies that are kept late. Its almost like they see the writing on the wall. What with programs like Zip.ca and the like that allow you to take movies for as long as you want.
Now with that said Blockbuster isnt really killing late fees. They are still setting the date one week for you to return it. After that they will charge you a "restocking fee" or just bill you for the movie. Can somebody tell me how this is any different then late fees? So I guess if you rent alot at blockbuster you have a 1 week grace period to keep the movie before returning it or you own it and get the bill. Or you can just use one of the many online services that let you keep it as long as you want without any trouble.
