Juon : The Grudge American debut

Finally one of my all time favorite Asian films is coming to America.. Too bad they had to remake it. The lead role has been given to Sarah Michelle Gellar as you can see below. Supposedly this is not going to be a "remake" but the 5th installment to the series.. Now I say no because I have seen all 4 films and I very disnctly remember the scene pictured below.. So far here is the synopisis:

An American nurse living and working in Tokyo is exposed to a mystery virus, one that locks a person in a powerful rage before claiming their life and spreading to another victim.

I just noticed that it is being directed by Takashi Shimizu. He did direct the first 4 films so maybe it won't be as bad as I oriiginaly thought.. But any film with Sarah Michelle Gellar is doomed..

Some of her fellow cast members are Jason Behr, Clea DuVall, and Ted Raimi.
