Chris Columbus to Direct the Sub Mariner

As most of you probably know Chris Colombus has directed 2 of the three Harry Potter movies and has headed up "Home Alone". Well now he has set his sights on Marvels character Sub Mariner aka Namor..

Namor is the half man/ half amphibian prince of Atlantis.. The movie will probably revolve around water polution invading his city and him going to the surface to discover what is behind it.. Thats just my theory but that is usually what happens in the comics.. I am also including a pic so you can get an idea of what he looks like..
