I really can't imagine, that he fits in this role. Nicolas Cage and Tom Cruise were both in talk to portray the mustached playboy billionaire under the gold-and-red armor. Also Leonardo DiCaprio was mentioned earlier by IGN.

Tom Cruise told many media oultes, that he is still interested, and i also see him as a better choice for playing a character whose traits include that of a swinging billionaire playboy, a sullen alcoholic and a man with a health condition serious enough he has to wear a metallic chestplate.

I still hope they get Cruise, after he finishes work on Steven Spielbergs "War of the Worlds".
