The Dukes of Hazzard - Daisy in Her Dukes!

You know what, I will have to admit that I was a fan of the tv show, but for only they two reasons, #1. The General Lee and #2. Daisy Duke. If you dont know already, "The Dukes of Hazard" will be making the jump from the small screen to the big screen on July 29, 2005. Directed by Jay Chandrasekhar (Club Dread/Super Troopers), written by the boys at Broken Lizard, and starring Seann William Scott (Bo), Johnny Knoxville (Luke), Jessica Simpson (Daisy Duke), Willie Nelson (Uncle Jesse), Burt Reynolds (Boss Hog) and M.C. Gainey (Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane) - this film has the making of a cult hit.

This is the first pic I've seen from the movie, and I have to say, "What a great first pic."

Set in present day, the story follows the adventures of "good old boy" cousins, Bo (Seann William Scott) and Luke (Johnny Knoxville) Duke, who with the help of their eye-catching cousin Daisy (Jessica Simpson) and moonshine running Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson), try and save the family farm from being destroyed by Hazzard County's corrupt commissioner Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds). Their efforts constantly find the "Duke Boys" eluding authorities in "The General Lee," their famed 1969 orange Dodge Charger that keeps them one step ahead of the dimwitted antics of the small southern town's Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane (M.C. Gainey).
