Karl Urban is Judge Dredd In New Remake

I am well aware how lonely I might be in this camp but I actually enjoyed Judge Dredd for all its b-movie cheesyness. Today from FilmSchoolRejects comes a new update for the remake that DNA Films is doing. DNA Films as an FYI are the people behind Danny Boyles 27 Days later, 28 Weeks Later and Sunshine all fantastic films.

Anyrate FSR spoke to Karl Urban and were able to confirm that he has been offered the role of Dredd and is excited for the chance as he has been reading the comics his entire life. For me its a great casting choice. The only thing better would be to hear that Danny Boyles is going to direct!
