Kevin Spacey playing Lex Luthor?

Is Kevin Spacey going to play Lex Luthor in Bryan Singers Superman? That is a rumour that has been flying all over the place and it looks that IESB has put the question to rest. Recently they sat down with Spacey and asked him about his involvement with the Superman project.

Are you in the running for the Lex Luthor role?

"I was approached to do it."

As you can tell he wasn't very specific but you can tell that something is definetly going down. I would assume its safe to say that Kevin Spacey will be playing Lex Luthor.
