Dark Knight 2 Release Date Set

ProductionWeekly has announced the release date for the sequel to Dark Knight. Warner Bros. plans to release “Batman 3″ on July 20, 2012. The film will be released in 3D which for me is a huge turn off, lets not bother with gimmicks lets instead focus on Chris Nolans immense talent.

Christopher Nolan had said that his intentions were to have The Joker in the Dark Knight sequel but Heath Ledgers death not only eliminated that but also made Chris question whether he even wanted to do a sequel according to the press. I am glad he is doing the project and am excited to see where the film goes. I also hope desperately that The Riddler is NOT in it.
