Avatar Top Selling DVD in UK

Yesterday we told you that James Camerons Avatar sold almost 7million copies in North America making it the top selling DVD / Bluray. I went out yesterday to buy a copy and everyone was sold out but the 7/11 which inflated the pricing to $32.00 since they are apparently the only ones in town with copies.

In the UK A phenomenal 222,824 units were purchased by consumers on its first day of release, April 26, selling more Blu-ray Discs in its first 24 hours than The Dark Knight sold in its first week. 

AVATAR generated over £91million at the UK box-office and $2.6 billion worldwide -- making it the highest grossing film of all time.
