Tom Hanks to play Lead in Da Vinci Code Movie
Posted by:Tom Hanks has signed on to play the lead in Sony's The Da Vinci Code. This movie is based on Dan Browns #1 best selling thriller by the same name. The movie is being directed by Ron Howard who helped make Tom Hanks famous with his comedia and dramatic roles over the years.
Sony reportedly paid $6million dollars for the rights to the movie. This movie is slated to release in 2005 and may be the very first NC-17 movie ever released by a major studio. I am sure under SONY's guidance this will make for an excellent movie.
