The Avengers Movie Shooting in February?

Chris Hemsworth who plays THOR in the upcoming THOR movie and will also be in The Avengers movie revealed to MTV that the Avengers movie will begin shooting in January or February but there is still no solid director yet;

“I’ve heard a lot of names bounced around, and then we all gather together next January/February to shoot the thing,” he said. “So, look — any of the people I’ve heard I’d be impressed by. I have no idea who it’s going to be.”

Here is hoping they tap Jon to direct! He has done an outstanding job on the Iron Man films and deserves a shot at the first big tie in comic book movie that brings together a larger base of heroes.
