30th Annual Razzie Award Winners

THe 30th Annual Razzies have announced their winners and yet again its a doozie. For the most part i can not agree more with the list. Sandra Bullock won this year as did Michael Bay and Paris Hilton and the scifi film BattleField Earth is back to win an award. Here is the winners:

Worst Picture of 2009: Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen: Transformers Revenge of the Fallen for me was not the worst film of 2009 and I think they were wrong on this one but I will admit it was pretty cliche. More robots, more one liners and more of Megan Fox bouncing around showing off her two best assetts.

Worst Actress of 2009: Sandra Bullock, All About Steve: This one I completely agree with. I watched All About Steve with my lady friend and holy mother of beelzebub was this movie horrendous. How Sandra Bullock can go from The Blind Side to this garbage is beyond me. If you didnt know better you would think she should quite the game but for every horrible 3 movies she manages to do one really good one.

Worst Actor(s) of 2009: All Three Jonas Brothers, The Jonas Brothers 3D Experience: Really do I have to say anything here? I didnt see it, wont see it, nuff said.

Worst Screen Couple: Sandra Bullock & Bradley Cooper, All About Steve: This movie as noted above is horrendous and the chemistry between Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper was about the equivalent of watching a cat and a dog try to make babies! This is easily one of the worst mis-casting jobs since Failure to Launch.

Worst Supporting Actress: Sienna Miller, G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA: I didnt think Sienna Miller did that bad of a job in GI Joe and when you consider how horrendous this movie was as a whole you should be asking two things. Why did Sienna only make the list and why did this movie not make the Wost Movie of 2009?

Worst Supporting Actor: Billy Ray Cyrus, HANNAH MONTANA: THE MOVIE: This one similar to the Jonas Brothers 3D Experience requires no further mention. Billy Ray Cryus in a Hannah Montana movie? Nuff said.

Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off or Sequel Land of The Lost: Despite a talented cast somehow Will Ferrell manaegd to make one of the worst remakes ever. The original Land of the Lost was campy and fun and this remake was campy and beyond stupid. Another one that could have easily beaten out Transformers 2 for worst movie in my eyes.

Worst Director: Michael Bay, TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN: Transformers really gets no love nor does Michael Bay. I do not feel that Michael Bay deserved the nod for Worst Director when you have other films like GI Joe and Land of the Lost which are much more worthy but then we talk about this award more if Michael Bay wins. His films are mindless popcorn fluff mixed in with explosions and lots of ass kickery but for me.. its fun!

Worst Screenplay: Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen WRITTEN BY EHREN KRUGER & ROBERTO ORCI & ALEX KURTZMAN: No shocker here that this one made the list and frankly its probably pretty worthy.

Worst Picture of the Decade: Battlefield Earth NOMINATED FOR 10 RAZZIES® / “WINNER” OF 8 (INCLUDING WORST DRAMA OF OUR FIRST 25 YRS). Get ready for this one but for some wierd reason Battlefield Earth is a guilty pleasure of mine. Its easily one of the corniest and worst written scifi films ever made but I love it!

Worst Actor of the Decade Eddie Murphy NOMINATED FOR 12 “ACHIEVEMENTS” / “WINNER” OF 3 RAZZIES® ADVENTURES OF PLUTO NASH, I SPY, IMAGINE THAT, MEET DAVE, NORBIT, SHOWTIME: Once again I have some love for Eddie Murphy and his work. I for one thought that Pluto Nash much like Battlefield Earth was a fun and campy romp down scifi-bmovie lane. Admittedly since then he has done some HORRENDOUS films including Norbit and Meat Dave but he has done some good ones as well.

Worst Actress of the decade Paris Hilton NOMINATED FOR 5 “ACHIEVEMENTS,” “WINNER” OF 4 RAZZIES® THE HOTTIE & THE NOTTIE, HOUSE OF WHACKS, REPO: THE GENETIC OPERA: Really is there any surprise that Paris Hilton won this award? The Hottie & The Nottie? Who thought that was a good idea? Although her role in the remake of House of Wax was surprisingly good and when she eats it in the movie the entire theater cheered me included! A worthy win for sure!
