James Camerons Avatar DVD Release Date & Details

Avatar is continuing to kick ass in theaters and to this day if you want to go and see it you need to get your tickets and show up early if you want a good seat for the 3D Showings. Impressive to say the very least. James Cameron has just now told MTV that Avatar will be hitting DVD on April 22nd which is Earth Day. How fitting that he carries the films message into real society.

As far as what we will be seeing James Cameron says we will be getting 3 versions of the DVD. a 2-D Version a Special Edition and a Bluray 3D version which will be released to take advantage of the new 3D Tv's for your home. I am excited!
