Brian Bendis Consulting on New Spiderman Movie

Brian Bendis the writer of Ultimate Spiderman is consulting on the new Sam raimi-less Spiderman 3D reboot. Last month Brian Bendis said he was a consultant on Marvel Films but was not working with Sony on the New Spiderman movie. Now from Twitter Brian tweets;

Just spent a very interesting morning at Sony with the entire spidey movie team!! Very very cool stuff!!

I have never read the Ultimate Spiderman comics but it would seem that you readers were quite right earlier when you said it sounded like the new story would be very much an Ultimate Spiderman storyline.
