Vin Diesel, David Twohys Pitch Black Sequel a Go!

For quite some time David Twohy has been talking about doing another sequel to Pitch Black and for some time its been nothing more then promises and speculation. Pitch Black is one of the coolest scifi-horror films made in the last 10 years and really put Vin Diesel on the map for me. The character of Riddick is one of the coolest and most conflicted characters. Hero but villain.. killer but friend.

Variety today confirms that the second sequel is finally a go. David Twohy will direct the project from a script that he wrote and Vin Diesel will return. Chronicles of Riddick the first sequel was luke warm at best but here is hoping this sequel which is being called RIDDICK will bring back the luster of the first film.
