Mel Gibson Calls Reporter An Ass**le

Mel Gibson got serious heat a few years ago when he allegedly made some inappropriate anti-semetic comments. The result was that fans started focusing on him as a person more then they did on his outstanding film career. When Edges of Darkness approached I admit it brought back memories of that event and had me wondering if it would impact his new movie.

I am a huge fan of Mel Gibson as an actor and as a creative director but will admit that his comments soured me a bit but not nearly as much as his recent interview which is doing the rounds where he referred to a reporter as an 'asshole' for asking him a question about how he was different now then he was 4 or 5 years ago when he was having some ups and downs in his career, clearly pointing to the alleged anti-semetic comments he made. Mel Gibsons response to call the reporter an asshole has caused a whole new negative viral for Mel Gibson which is a real shame. Once again his immense talent is over shadowed by comments made in the press.

I am sure Mel Gibson wants to put it behind him. He allegedly made a stupid comment and it has only been made worse by the video below. What are your thoughts?
